The
RAG, or Intelligent Underfloor Air Terminal, quietly draws
air from the plenum for distribution in the workspace. The
Intelligent Control permits a personalised environment control.

On-board temperature sensors control automatic damper operation
during cooling/heating or recycle mode. Fresh air is constantly
ensured even during recycle mode.
The modular damper, the controls to monitor the room temperature
and fresh air supply, the fan section and all components are
enclosed in a cabinet structure which is self supporting within
the raised floor. The RAG is installed flush with the floor
to offer even greater space advantages.
The Protek RAG unit, which has the same 600 mm x 600 mm footprint
as the standard floor tile, will fit into the space occupied
by a tile and be supported by the floor pedestals. This means
it can easily replace an Access Floor tile anywhere in the
room. The air grilles will be flush with the finished floor
and will support the weight of people walking on the unit.
